If ever there was a town which has escaped the ravages of development and succeeded in keeping its original character, Vittoriosa is the place. Pretty and quaint alleys will not fail to delight you as you walk through the old town where the knights settled when they came to Malta in 1530. The historic centre is characterised by winding streets, replete with buildings erected by the knights shortly after their arrival. Vittoriosa is also a harbour town and its city walls offer fascinating views of the Grand Harbour.
This 2 hour walk is the most comprehensive Vittoriosa walk possible, and it has been planned so as to not leave out anything worth seeing.
